Description:The JIAM X-ray Diffraction Core Facility provides users with access to both the Panalytical X'Pert3 MRD and Panalytical Empyrean XRD platforms to perform a variety of X-ray diffraction experiments (phase identification, phase quantification, crystallite size and microstrain determination, pole figures, residual stress, high-temperature in situ measurements, etc.). These instruments are available for both assisted and unassisted use (with prior approval).

Description:The mission of CEB’s bioimaging facility is to provide cutting-edge microscopic and macroscopic imaging instrumentation to the University community to enable superior research and quality result outcomes. Our equipment inventory consists of a wide array of microscopes, multimode microtiter plate (1-384 well) readers, and an in vitro/in vivo IVIS imaging system. We provide education, training, and assistance with data analysis to ensure that your research and development needs are optimally met.

Description:The UT AMIC is a 5500 sq ft. research laboratory located in the Science and Engineering Research Facility on the main campus of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. It houses instrumentation for; transmission and scanning electron microscopy, optical microscopy and atomic force microscopy. For the experienced microscopist the Center is an instrument resource. For the novice user, the Center offers complete technical support, individual training and courses that cover both the practical applications and physical principles of microscopy.
