The Human Tissue Repository and Tissue Analysis (HTR-TA) Shared Resource is jointly supported and managed by the UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Department of Pathology. The HTR-TA shared resource is certified by the College of American Pathologists (CAP). The HTR-TA shared resource has been set up to facilitate the translational research of the faculty in the UNM Cancer Center, the Department of Pathology, the School of Medicine and across Institutes. The Flow Cytometry Shared Resource provides centralized access to advanced cytometry technologies and expert technical support for UNMCCC members, UNM laboratories, and the broader scientific community. The Resource offers state-of-the-art flow cytometric analysis and high-speed cell sorting through a repertoire of scalable service models, including full-service acquisition, assisted workflows, and independent useāall tailored to meet diverse user needs and levels of expertise. Services support a wide array of applications, including classical immunophenotyping, cell cycle and apoptosis analysis, tumor microenvironment and leukocyte infiltration studies, and single-cell sorting for monoclonal line generation, CRISPR library construction, or integration into sort-to-sequencing workflows (e.g., 10x Genomics scRNA-seq). Bulk sorting is also available for re-culturing, transplantation, or downstream omics analyses.

The Molecular Biology Facility (MBF) provides Sanger Sequencing and DNA Fragment Analysis, 454 Shotgun genomic DNA sequencing, 454 Transcriptome sequencing from mRNA, and 454 Transcriptome sequencing from total RNA. The MBF also maintains a repository of equipment for use by faculty, staff and students to carry out molecular biology experiments.
