Facility Details

The Campus Chemical Instrument Center (CCIC) NMR Facility at The Ohio State University is a premier research hub specializing in ultrahigh-field nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Managing a suite of nine state-of-the-art spectrometers ranging from 600 MHz to a flagship 1.2 GHz console, the facility supports advanced structural biology, materials science, and chemical analysis.

Key capabilities include high-sensitivity helium-cooled cryoprobes for complex solution-state biomolecular structures, high-resolution solid-state NMR equipped with fast Magic Angle Spinning (MAS) probes, and a dedicated 600 MHz Wide-Bore system for Dynamic Nuclear Polarization (DNP) to achieve elite signal enhancement. The facility offers expert consultation, collaborative experimental design, and data analysis services for both academic and industrial investigators.
